Gabby Da Silva

Born and raised in Saskatoon SK, to a multicultural family of Portuguese and Canadian descent, Gabby Da Silva is a (dis)abled artist fascinated with the collaboration between digital and physical mediums. Within a conceptual approach, she enjoys creating work that deals with the documentation of events and the questions of how they can be presented. Her work responds to both her surrounding environments and everyday experiences; often accompanied by her own cluttered spoken word. Since graduating with her BFA honours in Studio Art from the University of Saskatchewan, Gabby continues to practice as an artist, constantly discovering new ways to express herself and her communities through art.
